About NHCAC Health Center
Located at 714 31st St, Union City, NJ 07087, NHCAC Health Center operates as a medical clinic serving Union City in New Jersey. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Union City, urgent care centers are busiest on weekends and evenings when doctors' offices are closed, and most post their wait times online. Across New Jersey, primary care practices often have a waitlist for new patients, so establishing care before you need it saves time. For a dental emergency outside office hours, an urgent care center can prescribe antibiotics and pain relief but cannot fix the tooth; a hospital emergency room can treat swelling that affects breathing or swallowing. Check the listing for insurance, hours and whether telehealth visits are offered.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 8:30 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Union City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Union City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Not satisfied with the workers, they always say there’s no available appointments the only one that are available are 3-4 months later which is ridiculous because they do not even attend that many people for the next 3 months to be all booked. I’ve been trying to get an appointment going but it’s nearly impossible. It’s insane and they are unprofessional and lazy from my first experience. Ever since they I haven’t been able to go back since they’re always “not available”

I have the best experience everytime I come to this facility. The front desk - Elizabeth - is very helpful and informative with everything I need to know. The MAs and nurses are all very friendly and pleasant. The ladies in the lab are also very nice. Thank you for your good patient care services 💛

I have been in this health center for a while. I always make appointments and even if you make an appointment you have to wait for hours. I told them an advance I had somewhere to be which was school! And I still had to wait. It’s crazy how long you have to wait even if you have an appointment already.

I was going to the north Hudson clinic in union city location, the first Dr. Was horrible to me I waited hours for him to see me for 5 minutes, there was this one time I asked him for advice because couple days before tne appt I was getting a haircut and felt super dizzy close to fainting and he yelled at me made me feel dumb for not going to the hospital yet that’s why I have him there for .. to guide me but he didn’t instead he yelled at me. Then I switched doctors and had this other Dr. And when I asked him about why my feet are beyond swollen to the point I can’t walk and had white spots on my legs he sarcastically answered “idk I’m not a skin Dr.” … left me feeling worried and scared about my symptoms didn’t give me any advice any reassurance nothing he just sent me away. At 34/35 weeks pregnant they cancelled my appointment said the dr won’t be in and then supposedly scheduled me for june2. 2 days before June 2 I get a call asking why I didn’t come to my appointment and I said what do you mean? You guys cancelled and rescheduled for June 2nd and they said no I don’t have appointments scheduled here for you and they were confused on who cancelled my appointment bc the doctor w

Receptionist, nurses and doctor were all nice and kind. But wait time was ridiculous. Since my husband was a new patient, we arrived there 30 minutes before our appt time (10am) to do the paperwork. By the time we were done with our paperwork it was around 9:50. Then we sat in the waiting area and waited. By the time the nurse called us it was around 11:20am. She did the basic stuff every other nurses do (measure height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse and ask basic questions). Then we were send back to waiting area again. Then the doctor called us around 12:00pm. He asked why my husband was here today. So we told him that we were there to get vaccinated for school immunization record. So he did basic exam then sent us to other room to get the shot. The nurse asked us another basic questions again before we get the shot. It took about 15 minutes for my husband to get vaccinated and finally we left the building.
